Utd have enough songs, i just want to know why the my old man song had to be stolen from Aston Villa. Villa have been singing it for over a decade and utd for 6 months, villa, at the game at OT last year showed utd how it should be sung.
 
gfactor, u seem to have an attitude problem, u no the song belongs to villa, ur so lucky u dont no me.
 
gfactor is being offensive to me, he is also a lover of graham norton, i say sin bin him to a week off the site
 
JAMIEB, unless you have something worthwhile and constructive to contribute to the cafe, then don't post at all.
 
The cafe is a place to express our veiws on differing matters in the beautiful game. We, as a community of football lovers, should unite and realise that as one team performs a song of there own, and puts the effort in to communicate it to others, it should not be taken from its grasp, which is why i believe i can fly, i believe i can touch the sky, think about it every night and day, spread my wings and fly away.
off to eat some breakfast in russia so, Cherrio, and moscow. rar rar rar

I grew up in London going to Spurs games in the early 80's (couldn't afford the train fare to OT as a kid) - was a big spurs song then (practically all they sang really) - and given that it's originally a cockney music hall tune my guess is that it was originally their tune. Nothing wrong with this - all clubs borrow songs from one another - in fact if you saw a video of the 1977 cup final you'd see that the Utd fans seranaded their cup winning team with "You'll never walk alone" - amazing but true - and not smg you'd see today. Rather sing a song slagging off City any day.
