i acnt edit my fonts or post smilies or anything
have i done something wrong?

Otherwise I don't know. Sounds like something is blocking the scripts from running properly, though, which is what NoScript does.

It happens all the time to me when I'm using firefox or safari browser. Just restart your browser and it should be fine.
