My Big Fat Fetish on Channel 4

I watched a bit of it. People disturb me too. You've got these mordibly obese women whoring themselves in front of webcams and the sick guys who get pleasure in watching it. They all need a reality check.

That's gormless and pauldyson, that.

I wonder if Nia Vardalos gets paid any royalties for inspiring the titles of about half the shows on Channel 4 since 2002.

Watching it now, how repulsive is this then?

Oh my god...my fecking eyes!!! What the feck!

I need some acid to wash my eyes out after seeing just the first 10 minutes or so, yet I am compelled to watch more.

Jesus christ....

Now dont get me wrong, I dont mind a curvy woman at all, in fact I prefer it to the skinny stick insects going around however this is just full on morbidly obese. People letting themselves get like this need help.

It was pretty disgusting watch...

The only person I felt anything for was the son of that woman/beast. He looked to me as if he was legitimately mentally handicapped in some way (though that is just a guess based on his behaviour in this show) and his mother was seemingly taking advantage of that and almost forcing him to be her helper (which was disturbing in many many ways).

But yeah, they're all pretty fecking disgraceful in my humble opinion... and seemingly incredibly hypocritical, as the ones who had boyfriends all picked relatively thin men to be with! But yeah, they banged on about being happy and comfortable with their lifestyle, but I just couldn't help thinking it was all bullshit. Part that stood out for me was that las eating a huge meal at a diner, and talking about how happy she is being a fat mess... all the way through I was just thinking "That's bullshit, you're obviously totally messed up, and probably very depressed."

It was an interesting program to the point where I watched the whole thing, but I'm not sure it was a good program. They never really seemed to challenge these morbidly obese women with any tough questions, particularly related to health or how wider society views them, and mainly centered around questions that they'd be able to give a nice happy-go-lucky answer too that basically explained how good they feel about themselves... it would have been a lot better had Lous Theroux been at the helm.
