I emailed MUTV about their recent coverage about the pre-season matches and this was there reply:
Thank you for your e-mail, I hope that I can shed some light on your queries.
SkySports bought the live rights to the whole of The Amsterdam Tournament, MUTV had secondary rights to the Manchester United games which meant that we could only show the games on a delay.
As far as Boca Juniors is concerned, we will be playing the game out at 1730, the reason that we cannot show it live at 1500 is because it is the first weekend of the Nationwide league and FA Premier League rules state that no game can be televised live if it clashes with other games in
either the Premiership or lower divisions. You will notice that Sky often have 12.15pm or 5.35pm kick off's on a Saturday so that they do not clash with other untelevised games.
Hope this answers your questions,

I cannot argue with that, if it had been a game not when the Leagues were beginning it probably be have shown LIVE. Still dissapointed but at least there was an explanation.
