I think they went a bit cheesey, they have a couple of great albums.
Spammy you listen to Non-Point? I've heard some of their singles (Mindtrip, Bullet with a Name, What a Day) and really liked them but haven't heard any of their complete albums.
Not Falling's ok. Dig and Death Blooms (esp. the live version @ Ozzfest) are their best songs.
From what I've heard of Non-Point they are very run of the mill, could be good for a laugh though, they covered Phil Collins for the Miami Vice soundtrack.
Well, LD. 50 is their best album with thelikes of Dig and Nothing to Gein etc, but I put Not Falling there because it was the first one that came up on YouTube.

I like them, they're very atmospheric and they are fecking funny too. Plus, they are incredible musicians.

mehro, what are your feelings towards Neurosis and Isis, if you've heard them at all?
Not sure what this thread is about, Mudvayne released a new album 2 years ago and are almost finished on another. They're still going strong. My old flat mate knows their ex-bassist, Chris quite well. If you like Mudvayne, you will like HellYeah, as adi said. Kud is the vocalist for them as well.

Well it was a song called 'Rational Eyes' that really got them noticed on the metal scene. If you can find it then I would definitely recommend giving it a listen.
But from their album, Under Reprisal? Haunting, Faceless, One Last Breath, As I Destruct...take your pick the whole album is great.

Sort of avante-garde/post metal. Progressive, melodic and heavy, right up my street basically. Not all about fast tempo head banging, very very atmospheric.

downloaded a few, they were ok but not really my cup of tea
Well, considering Neurosis pioneered the sound that Isis helped develop and Cult Of Luna blatantly copied (to an extremely good level), I would say that you lose your money, and should give it to me.
I think Neurosis and Isis are unbelievable bands, and they deserve much credit for developing the genre. But Cult of Luna are my favourite band ever and I don't think anything rivals 'The Beyond', and only Panopticon rivals their other albums which are also amazing. I'm keeping the Krugerrands
The best I've heard of COL is Salvation, it's fecking good, but Neurosis' Eye of Every Storm and Sun That Never Sets have a place in my heart.
