MTU-Hallencup 2016

Lost to Right to Dream 3-4 in first game. Starting eleven: Denham, Smethurst, Mambuene, Thomson, Elanga.

We started Denham who is a defender as goalkeeper in the first game and he slipped for 2 of the goals. They basically had 4 shots on target and 4 goals. Our goals were scored by Odubeko x2 and Mambuene
 
Won the 2nd game 8-0. Odubekox3, Thompson x3, Mambuene and Wellens with the goals

It was Elanga not Wellens.

Lost 1-5 to Borussia Mönchengladbach. Odubeko with the goal. Mee in goal.
 
Is Wellens any relation to Richie Wellens who was a youth with us?
 
The manner of which we conceded the first 3 goals in the last game is hilarious. Talk about start the game slow...

It turns out Allen is the keeper in the squad not Mee. Every year up until now teams have been allowed to play a keeper from the year above so United brought Allen only to be told that he can't play this year so we've had outfield players playing in goal
 
There was a kid called Max H..something(feck at this point im not even sure if his name was Max lol), he should be in the same generation(or year below) with Greenwood. They played together some youth 5aside tournaments and he wore a number 10 in there, looked class above along Greenwood but his name is never mentioned in this or in U16 teams that you guys post here.

Was in the England trials for u15s.
 
Lost 2-5 vs. Barca. Smethurst scored twice and hit the bar once. He has improved a lot since this tournament last year.

The starting team was Denham - Fish, Mambuene - Elanga, Odubeko

Lost 2-4 vs. Shalke. Thompson and Odubeko scored for us. Really annoying to play without a goalkeeper, although Denham did all what he could.
 
Lost 1-3 against Ajax, Wellens with the goal.

Not sure which game you watched but it ended 2-2 with Odubeko and Thompson scored.

The starting team was Denham - Mambuene, Fish - Elanga, Odubeko. Denham had a good game.
 
Tournament is over, we finished 8th-16th out of 24 teams
 
Weird tournament whereby having no goalkeeper really cost us despite most of the team played well (though I expected more from Elanga and Fish).

Saw just the end, heard the announcer said 1-2, when Wellens scored, then Ajax scored so I thought it was 1-3. My German is not really any good.
