An U15s 5-a-side competition on Germany starting from today until tomorrow.

This year the tournament is LIVE here (although I'm still not sure how to watch it):

Think our first match would be around 9am BST.

United squad: Matt Campbell (GK), Angel Gomes, Aidan Barlow, Harry Spratt, Brandon Williams, James Garner, Dion McGhee, Dylan Levitt, Ethan Laird, Mason Greenwood.

Starting in around 10 mins now - Barca play first.

Then we've got Barcelona ourselves at around 13:40
 
Barca taking the piss. TSV Tettnang are out of their depth :(
 
Well our no.10 looked a handy player and the number 2 looked like a good defender but i didn't really see much from any of the others. Hopefully Barca provide a sterner test. 3-1 to us in case anyone was wondering.

Yeah he's Gomes.Number 2 is Ethan Laird.

Here is the squad by shirt numbers: Campbell 1,Laird 2,Spratt 3,Williams 4,Garner 5,Levitt 6,McGhee 7,Barlow 8,Greenwood 9,Gomes 10.

Campbell,Spratt,Barlow and Gomes are U15s.Greenwood is U13s.The rest are U14s.

We were playing a really weird formation at the start with Laird and Spratt staying very deep and Gomes,Barlow up top with nobody to link between them.
 
Thought the no.9 looked very young. Big lad though.

I have watched them,they were good although not special.Zagreb,Chelsea,Ajax,Gatarasaray have a couple of good players.Obviously Barca also.

Gomes by far best player on the pitch.United tactic is a bit funny really with Barca 1 vs 1 man marking everyone and GK has no choice but to hoof.

Campbell made some incredible saves.

They have two different teams at that age group.Not much different though as one "age group" of them at that level is consist of two normal age groups - with the most standout of the younger group usually play with the older group.

The Stuttgart players when they were man marked in the same circumstances when their keeper had the ball just ran up the pitch and dragged the barca markers with them. Clever way to negate the marking but I guess those German teams play more 5 aside and have thought about it more??

Agree but I never saw a tactic like that from other teams so I'm not sure if I will support the way Barca is doing.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Manchester United next.

Basel is another good side at this tournament.I like their no 10.

Well the age group format always do us (and English club in general) a bit disadvantage as we have a lot of kids born from Sep to Dec.

That goal from Spratt (our number 3) was quality.

Greenwood (no 9) is very highly rated within the club but he's almost two years younger than most of others so hard to make an impact.Good equaliser from him though.

For those who wonder, the match ended 3-3.
