Wonder if Januzaj possibly plays this for match fitness.

And what sort of formation we use.

Hoping for a sighting of Powell as well finally.

This game clashes with the Salford City v Class of 1992 match which loads of people bought tickets for well in advance.

While City may expect a decent crowd the United contingent may be lower.

For those who might have missed it, this is tonight.

No Petrucci by the looks of his Instagram - "Good luck tonight boys... I hope you will lift another trophy".

Who's been promoted to the U21's this year?

J.Pereira,O'Hara,Evans,McConnell,Janko,A.Pereira,Harrop,Goss,Willock and Fletcher are all too old for the under 18s now

Does anyone know if LvG or any of his "Dutch" team are there? Intersting that Pearson Rothwell and Pereira are playing, an exciting midfield

Ya, 3 really talented players. I was surprised that Van Gaal didn't take any of them with him on tour. I thought Pearson would go for sure.

I would be disappointed if I don't see 7-8 of them going on loan or promoting to the first team after October.

He said he wanted to evaluate the current squad and with our midfiled situation I think he wanted to see for himself how bad it was. If Pearson had gone he would probably not have been given much playing time.
I would love to see Thorpe given a chance. I think he is better than Keane

Brilliant run from Janko, should be doing better with the delivery though.

What is it that Warren Joyce is saying? "Half and half" or "half an hour"?

City are hogging the ball but having a hard time getting into our half.

Though they just got through on the left, snuffed out by Vermijl for a corner.

1-0 City. Hiwula with the goal after Pereira spilled/rebounded Cole's cross.

City have started much better than we have.

City much better than us in possession and we're suffering from a real lack of direction at this level. 4-4-1-1 seems so outdated and rigid now.
