Rolled my eyes when I saw the trailer pop up on YouTube, but....Donald Glover, Paul Dano, John Turturro?

You son of a bitch, I'm in.

Watched the first episode and thought it was pretty good, but then I am a sucker for any secret agent/spy thriller, and Donald Glover is just fantastic in everything he’s in.

But I really don’t know why they even call it Mr and Mrs Smith, given how little it has in common with the Brangelina movie. Does that film have a big following that this series is hoping to capitalise on? I just remember it as one of those forgettable early 2000s action thrillers that have aged badly, like Mission Impossible 2 and the later Brosnan Bond movies, all of which seemed to have scenes where people dive in slow motion while shooting 2 guns. Just one episode in but the series already seems much better than that.

Your lucky I haven’t tagged @Sweet Square regarding your opinion on MI:2.

Even Jesus would struggle to save someone who can’t see the beauty in double berettas and slow mo!
All of that to the sound of ‘take a look around’ by Limp Bizkit as well! One of the GOAT original movie songs.

It’s halfway brilliant and Atlanta-adjacent. The Helicopter-Jungle-Helicopter scene was a riot.

Solid 7/10, going on an 8. A fresh, fun rom-com that’s inventive and interesting.

Two episodes in and enjoying it. Just weird enough to make what should be formulaic enjoyable

It's better than expected, and much better than the title may suggest, and the cast is incredible, but it has serious flaws too, I felt the time skips between episodes were completely unnatural, some plotlines were too ludicrous even in the context of such ludicrous series, and some of the action was extremely ropey (the hand to hand fight in the last episode almost looked like a parody at times).

Not helped by the fact that Glover always moves like he's in a body popping dance performance.

The whole thing was an entertaining watch, but yeah, the time jumps, particularly at the start were quite jarring (especially the progression of feelings)

Very meh. Annoying/inept main characters. Tedious penultimate episode. Made it ten mins into the finale before switching off. Paul Dano has appeared for a grand total of 30 seconds up to this point in the entire series. I want my money back.
