Can the mod who banned him elaborate?

I believe Raoul gave him a short timeout for continual disruption of a CE thread and refusing to make his complaints in the correct forum (this one) or by PM.
 
That is BS Wibble and you know it wasn't for this.threads are always dragged out of contest all over the forum.
 
Seems like a medicore reason for a banning, if that is infact the real reason why he got banned...
 
Not that it is anyone’s business but that is exactly why he was given a temporary time out (not banned BTW).

Threads are dragged off topic all the time, which we used to spend time moderating, until we ended up running a childcare facility.

I also don't take kindly to people suggesting that I or Raoul are liars.
 
He isn't banned. He'll be back in a couple of days. I asked him to move the discussion to this forum, but he insisted on spaming the Zarqawi thread with his outrage over RedCanuck etc.

It happens all the time. About 50-60 people would have to be banned if you applied the rule all the time.
MODs nowdays invoke different reasons to ban or "timeout" people as it suits them.

I'm sorry I wasn't online to refute the nonsense he was spouting. I wouldn't have wanted him censured in any way though. Sorry for any inconvienience my absence may have caused.

Raoul banned you for a short time but made an error by adding you to the permanent ban list. When I corrected it, because Raoul was off line at the time, it made it look like I banned you. I tried to sum up why you got the short time out of which "off topic" was just a small part from what I can tell.

I think Raoul has explained his reasoning somewhere.
