This is hilarious. But does it secure them the #1 spot?

Barcelona? City? Bayern? Us? Liverpool? Anyone else in contention?

Boggles my mind that these soft wet wipes are so successful while being the biggest crybabies around.

The way they're banging on you'd think he'd scored 50+ goals last season.

26 goals 11 assists all competitions. Wind your necks in.

I don’t mind this. They’re supporting their guy. That’s cool.

This however, is genuinely embarrassing

I still think City are far more entitled than Madrid.

Yes Madrid can be arrogant, but with the amount of La Liga and Champion's League titles they've won recently, they have a right to be.

City have literally sued their own league because they expect to be able to break all the financial rules without consequences, and don't like being told "No".

Feck is going on? Vini is a top talent but his output is on par with peak Nani and he has never been in a contender for Ballondor.

I mean Ballon d'Or is notorious for having a Spain bias anyway, goes back at least to the 90's and particularly Rivaldo beating Beckham out in 1999

That's obvious to everyone else but the more success they seem to have, the more bitter they become. It's bizarre. I reckon UEFA could just give them home advantage for every game for the rest of the tournament for the next 5 years and they'd still insist there's a conspiracy against them.

He's their best player so therefore he's the worlds best player. That's their only logic. I'd bet most Madrid fans have never watched a city league game.

Not sure I’d call that entitlement. That’s just owners who flex what muscles they have.

Real Madrid fans are the quickest to start whistling their own team when they’re not doing well, and we’ve not seen any other club throw their collective toys out of the pram over the Balon d’Or like this.

I also find it funny that they get pissy with the award when it’s not as if it’s their fault that journalists vote as they do. Reminds me of the Chinese government not liking when Liu Xiaobo got the Nobel Peace Prize and then proceeded to sour relations with the Norwegian state over it, as if they had a say in how they voted.

Wonder what Rodri thinks of his team-mate Carvajal saying he doesn’t deserve it and not showing up to see him win. What a hateful club. Perez acting like Trump in the 2020 election, it’s just an award ffs. They also finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th and won team of the year and there was nobody there to collect the awards. Pathetic.

I watched the highlights of the Barca Real game and after the third goal, there were loads of Madrid fans that instantly got out of their seats and went to leave in the background. I'd say there were hundreds that already started to leave before the net stopped moving.

"That’s it, I’m cancelling my Real Madrid subscription! I don’t pay to watch them lose!"

Casillas chimed in to. He said, "Rodri been injured for 2 months."

Yes, Casillas this award is from Aug 2023 to July 2024.

Madrid have made sure that their players will have even bigger preferential treatment in future Ballon d'Or seasons than they already had, with this stunt they pulled yesterday

As is case with everything, our entitlement is better than everyone else's!

Most entitled: Real
Biggest Superiority Complex: City
Biggest Victimisation Complex: Dippers
Most hypocritical: Barca

Perfection.

Continued:

Most unlikeable club: PSG
Most unlikeable fans: Arsenal
Biggest plastic circus: Chelsea
Most unintentionally funny: Spurs or us :(

Pre Klopp, the Dippers were the most unintentionally funny.

They need to go full scouse and get the t-shirts and have a candlelit vigil.

Justice for Vinicius.

This cannot be allowed.

And at the candlelit vigil violence will break out and the City of Liverpool will be set alight.

In the aftermath Liverpool fans will then blame the City Council, Police and Ballon d'Or voters for causing the violence. At which point, they hold another vigil.
