Watched it again for the first time in years
laughed my ass off
I think everytime someone has a fight in real life that music should start playing from somewhere
Never realised until now how gay they made my two favorite characters raiden and scorpion

Its the best non-animated video game to movie no doubt!

The games were quality. Sub Zero was the dogs bollocks. Didn't even know there was a film version

Mortal Kombat was awesome, I remember how excited I was when I was little and my Dad would rent it out for me

I remember as well during some fair there was this bloke there who said he was unbeatable at it, but I whooped his ass. Although I cheated by pushing him to the edge of the screen and doing that leg swipe thing over and over so he couldn't do anything

I remember watching this when it came out. I loved it. But obviously now I see it differently.

Johnny Cage FTW.

'Noone touches my sunnies'

Or something like that.

The old sweeper move! Fantastic stuff, won many-a-game using that tactic.

The soundtrack is great too... finish him... babality...

It is shit, the game was revolutionary remember people complainging about the gore at the time even thoguh games now are 50x worse

I was unbeatable with Sub Zero. Leg sweeper move or not, me and Sub Zero were a team to be feared. Also at the end when you had to randomly punch through blocks of wood or ice or summit for reasons which I can't remember, I was the best at that as well. Although I would cheat and stick my mega drive controller on turbo and just sit pretend it was me pressing the button really fast.

That was the best part... resulted in many sore thumbs as a child.

Heh heh my litle borther used to get so pissed off, he couldn't work out how I always managed it with ease. I used to deny using the turbo button and just pretend to tap the buttons really fast. Good times

Sub Zero was a fan favourite, everyone loved him. His Ice move was the best, you couldn't lose once you got a few of those off.

I think Reptile was the coolest though. He was the green version of Sub Zero and Scorpion.

I remember Shiva was the big bitch with 4 arms.

The games were awesome!

The first film was good at the time. The second movie fecking terrible! Yet it still looked like the Godfather in comparison to Van Dammes Streetfighter movie. That just sucked hairy monkey balls!

Agreed !

Street Fighter the movie is a horrible abomination of mankid.

theres at least 2 maybe 3
the second gets quite ridiculous
one of the characters turns into godzilla or something

The second one got stupid with Jaxx's arm extensions

It was from Liu Kang's fatality in MK2 (D, F, B, B, HK - that's sad) that then became his animality in MK3

Baraka? I don't think he was in the first game though, maybe he was in the second.

Baraka was in MK2 and used his blades for his fatalities - one was a simple decapitation, the other was to lift you up and let you slide down his blades. To be fair, he gave you a present for his friendship move!

It was to Test Your Might! Don't you remember the Utah Saints movie theme?

Agreed !

Not as horrible as the game of Streetfighter The Movie - a f*cked up game of a f*cked up movie. Would have been surpassed only by a Mario The Movie game. :wenger:
