I never really thought that much of him to be honest, a little bit one dimensional but the lad does score goals, not bad with his feet and hit 3 for Spain. Real dont want him for some reason so he might be worth a look, not sure about his pairing with Ruud though.

He would be an excellant back up for Ruud, and could fit in a 4-4-2 line-up.

Hardly think he's going to want to swap sitting on a nice bench in Madrid for sitting on a nice bench in Manchester

Never.... Nowhere near as good as Ole so there is no point buying him, and he not exactly young, or indeed does he possses pace

I'm a fan of Ole but Morientes is better.

Real treat him like shit yet he continues to rescue them almost every time he plays.

Will be a good signing for whoever buys him in the summer.

As a Real fan, i know Morientes since it was bought by Real years ago (not even 1 millon Euro). He is a good striker with a lot aerial control, and skillful (not as good as Ruds). The only problem is that sometimes he lacks consistency making goals. Anyway he always do a lot of hard work on the pitch and sweats a lot even if he doesnt scores goals. I think he will score +/- 15 goals in the premiership + another 5 goals in the CL and FA cup.

See you

We cannot compare him with Ole but Morientes is good.We need an experienced CF to partner Ruud and
he might be the right player
