Sky News suggest that fecking Tottenham are hunting Morientes. If Ronaldo comes to Madrid, Morientes are rumoured to leave...

He would look better in red though. Anyone knows the price tag on him?

Isn't that what we need? Anyway, not sure that he would only be back up anyway. He is a fine striker from what I've seen of him.

I think Real were looking at about 14 million for Morientes according to the Soccernet article.

I think he's a great player and would love to see him at Man Utd.

Think he would be fine. Tristan and Morientes are the best two strikers in Spain. Better than Raul...

yeah! and that makes me stupid?

i think morientes would be better for united than raul. Raul would be like watching a four year old playing american football...

No, it just means your opinion of football suddenly becomes totally redundant.

Raul is probably a better footballer than Morientes, is worth a lot more and by your - remarks turns you on more than morientes. But if we talk about a striker for united, i think Morientes would produce the goals and do the job in a better way than a superstar like Raul - who probably never would consider an offer from "a boring, english club" anyway...

Raul is a better footballer, less injured and could be a terrific partner to someone like Van Nistelrooy, although it could never happen ofcource as he'll never be sold.

Morientes is injury prone and can offer nothing else but to let Ruud rest now and then. And what makes you think he WOULD consider a move from an English club?

one things for sure...if they sell him, it increases their chances of getting Ronaldo

??

Rauls a better player.. however both are vastly overrated.. (especially Raul.) IMO

so raul is overrated IYO. is ruud?

wasn't raul the guy stickin' the daggers in my heart at OT , or was that madrid newspaper men proping him up? he does seem to score some big goals for real , IMO.

And according to some reports during WC2002, Spanish Golden Boy kicked up a fuss cos he had something against the Spanish coaching stuff.... isn't that reminiscent of a particular player in our club too....? ;)

Spurs reserves will be something special.

Morientes and Rebrov up front, unable to dislodge Ferdinand and Doherty.

Morientes has said no to Spurs cos they are not even in Europe and he doesn't want to play in London and for a small London club!

My reaction to his comments on Spurs made me think... He said something like:

"Real are qualified for CL. Tottenham are not even i the UEFA Cup. Besides, i don`t want to play in London..."

He didn`t say England... Or Manchester?

is ruud over rated?? nope.. i don't think he's held in the same regard as raul... and TBH i'd have RVN over raul everyday of the week.. altho rauls a slightly different type of forward.

sorry, i don't rate him as highly as some others do.. he's a good striker..but nowt special.

so giggzy raul w/ 3 cl titles and a shed load of goals is over rated? he'll be spains #1 goal getter ever , and can pass , chip , and scores w/ his head as much as ruud but one's overrated and the others not?????????? yer wrong one way or the other m8. IMO. ;)

RVNs better IMO..

plus iam biased ;)

altho, i wouldn't swap any striker in the world for Ruud....he's looked very sharp in pre-season.. i think he'll score more goals this campaign..than last season
