Patrick Vieria has been handed a two game ban for swearing at a ref. His ban starts immediately - i.e from this Saturday.

Strange that Keanes ban does NOT start immediately and has a two game delay.

Also one of the games Vieira misses is in the Worthless Cup...

keane has a 2 week appeal period in between. i guess they're not allowing viera to argue the ban. fair enough - although it is quite idiotic that the ban covers the worthless cup.. that IS annoying.

Keane's' ban also covers a League Cup match. And Vieira also has time to appeal.

It does look as though the FA have done all they could to make sure Keane doesn't play in matches when he's fit without making it too obvious.

According to Sky he's out of the North london derby and the Southampton game. Both in the league

I've now read that too. When i first heard, the BBC said it was immediate.

keane's case is a perfect example of SAF bad strategy which hit us during these 2 years

1st SAF had read the diary before it was ordered to be published. Then can you tell me why he didnt ordered Keano to cut those hot articles? Even an idiot would have realised that it was going to put our captian into deep trouble.

2nd Keano got injured before the world cup. Then why not operating him BEFORE or AT Least exactly when he came back to England?? The result was that We have lost our captian for half of this campaign.

3rd Keano was injured right? His comeback was at November. Then why postponing the appeal?? He would have had half of his suspension while he is injured if it wasnt for our silly leadership.

i agree with all of your other points except this one. apparently Keane refused to on the op table after he returned from the World Cup. His own stupidity this one.

If that is the case than we are really in a desperate position

Soo let me understand well. A player is on 100 grand per week and fails to play half of the season because he simply dont want to be annoyed during the summer.

Is this WAT Keano describes as commitment??

And Fergie used to say that no one is bigger than the club <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Keano is out of control and by not acting on it ( as he had done on Incey) shows that fergies time is up
