I know its the price we pay for being the biggest club in the world but it sickens me how expensive most players become once Utd knocks on the door.
Liverpool buys two players and pays half Veron's price because clubs see Liverpool FC. When Utd comes...they see Money Utd.

They should be shot!!!!Maybe its time for FIFA to step in and evaluate player prices.

Its because we don't waste loads of money on established World Class midfielders, who are rubbish..

Oh! and Davo you should not contradict yourself.......worldclass midfielder and rubbish????? A midfielder is either rubbish or he is worldclass.....cant be both...

Leave Davo in peace. If you just ignore him, he will get bored and go away, like most four-year-olds. It's tough on him being a dipper,of course, but we all have our problems.

If you stop encouraging him, he may finally settle down, find a nice girl, and learn to accept his fate as a Southend or Torquay fan. Who knows, maybe over the decades he will develop into a gooner.

you're quite right, it's so tough finishing above you lot in the league and beating you every time we play you. and we don't even have any world class players. . .or at least not any who cost £28M.
