Seems like they've just gone the way of Marseilles a few years ago & relegated for financial irregularities. Any regular French football watchers think any of their players are good enough for utd? I like the Mexican centre-back Marquez and Rothen, a recently capped french left-sided player, would provide cheaper cover for Giggs than Duff or Kewell.

I know Rafael Marquez very well, and he´is excellent; he has Ferdinand´s class, but with a little bit more of experience.

He has been wanted by Madrid many timesw, but it doesn´t happen, I do not know why.

Marseille was relegated for corruption, for Monaco it is financial problems, they have a deficit (bad financial management). In France it is enough to be relegated. But probably the Prince will find sponsors and bring the money.

Fergie was over watching them the week before last so it would make you wonder if he has his eye on anyone. The night he was there Ludovic Giuly was tremendous. He looked top class. Probably more likely though that Fergie ws looking at Marquez or perhaps even Shonda. All said though with Monaco down there should be a bargain or two.

I don't think Monaco will be down. They have made an appeal and they probably will find the money to stay in Division One.

Wheren´t we linked with Monaco´s keeper a few weeks ago. I think his name was Roma something, if they go down we might pick him up for cheap.

If Monaco aren't going down is it possible that Fergie was there talking about a possible return for Fabian?
