MODS - Password query

Yesterday mprning after I ran a virus scan and deleted some nasties I tried to log on to the Caff. Normally I am not asked for my password details but this time I was. On entering my password details I found after 4 attempts that my password details were not being accepted so I was forced to request the issue of a new one.

Can a knowledgable Mod inform me why a valid password (taken from a Caff password E mail ) was considered invalid

If he's typing his password then cookies will have nothing to do with it.

The most likely cause is user mis operation.

when ever I delete my cookies - I have to resubmit all my passwords again. Thats what you must have deleted.

How your password didnt work - has to be user error (CAPS etc)

Sacre bleu user mis - operation (is this Queen's English ?) ecoutez bien - I typed the password from the Caff E mail twice - I copied/pasted the password from the caff e mail twice - on all occasions the password was rejected - Merde what more do I av to do ?

1 - I didn't delete cookies - my virus scanner did and saw summat in the cookie it didn't like
