Vs.

Tactics Michaelf7777777

My team will play a 4-3-3 formation with Salah and Lozano cutting in from the wings and Dybala playing as a deep lying forward. My midfield 3 consists of Javi Martinez who will be my main ball winner in midfield, Khedira who will playmake from deep while being defensively solid and Paul Pogba who will be playing in a box to box role.

Tactics The Cat

1. Ederson. For me just about the best GK in the world right now. Still some experience to pick up but this lad has the full package, great saves great distribution and brave as a lion.

2. Telles. Will be in Premier League next season I would bet. Chelsea and Liverpool after him amongst many others. Amazing going forward, can hit a mean free kick and is an absolute monster of an assist king. Will dovetail very well with Strootman and Mane in front of him whilst also being a very good defender.

3. Umtiti. Left footed colossus does all the defending as well as just about anyone whilst also being able to spot a pass to those in front of him.

4. Sule. Right footed stopper capable of scoring the other end as well. No nonsense rock.

5. Sidebe. Extremely solid fullback and another who is full of assists. Can also play midfield which shows his ability but he's in the team to solidify the right side letting Bale go whenever he wants. Can easily overlap Bale when the chance is there.

6. Strootman. What a player. Total box to box left footer who can do everything. His through passes are amazing and with the talent in front of him he is going to have a field day. Also can do the defensive work extremely well and possesses a lethal shot he's got it all.

8. Fernandinho. Almost a carbon copy position wise of Strootman just a mirror image being right footed.
Capable again of getting forward although without Strootman's passing still very decent at it and a superb defensive midfielder when called upon which in this side is his main priority.

10. Isco. Absolute class. Encouraged to wander as much as he wants as he does at his best at Madrid. He has Strootman, Fernandinho behind to give him this freedom and then with both of them getting forward when they can loads of options before you even get to his front 3 to choose from. He will love this lineup with Mane , Bale and Icardi in front of him.

7. Mane. So much pace and ability. Will have the option of feeding Icardi, Isco and Bale when not in the box plus Strootman and Telles as options charging up. When in the box he is such a good finisher. I'm not sure how any defence can control this attacking lineup with any certainty.

11. Bale. With Fernandinho and Sidibe behind the guy can go nuts pretty much. Go down the flank and find Icardi, cut inside and shoot or fine Isco, Mane or Strootman bombing forward this is a playground for him.

9. Icardi. Can do the lot. He can hold play up if required but can get on the end of any cross, any scrap. Can twist and pivot 18 yards out and hit the next like it's a 2 yarder. Amazing penalty taker can score with either foot from 18 yards, get loads of headed goals, a complete package and will score for fun with the players behind him.

Would've preferred a more all-rounded striker with Mane and Bale. Icardi averages like 13 passes per game. The stat from 2017 says that he manages to score a goal every 12 touches — it makes him the most clinical finisher in Serie A but at the same time it highlights how his play is only limited to goals.

I like the team that Michaelf with the 7s has put together, particularly the midfield and attack. The only question for me comes in wide areas. Hernandez and Rafinha have their hands full vs. Bale and Mane.

Love that front 4 for Cat, Icardi is fine here, will relish being fed by those 3 behind him.

Bale and Mane vs those full backs won't be pretty either.

I am hopeful they can't keep out the front 3 with Isco feeding them plus 2 box to box engines behind. Their defence isn't the best. Both full backs will help what i believe is a far better transition. Sorry about paragraphs etc stuck on my phone

The Cat's team is one of my favorites from the first round. Great flanks, solid base and your typical goalscorer with a bundle of creative options behind him.

On Michael's side I really like the use of Dybala and Salah. It's a very fluid unit, but that The Cat front 4 really grabbed my vote here.
