We just got smashed by Chelsea, got beaten by Arsenal despite getting a large amount of help from the ref, and peppering the goal with shots. We also drew the game before, are last in our champions League group and have lost top spot. I'd hate to see the reaction from the mancs if they were in a similar position.
 
The reaction has been cool as cucumbers. We all know we'll win the PL no matter what... an we've got a great shot @ Glasgow.

The way this season's going is just going to give the lads more confidence. Liverpoool, falter at the first serious hurdle of the season.... so good luck next year.
 
In fairness to us Koptalk guys, we are very very good at having a moan at the best of times. Its all about he level of appreciation for the game I guess.

I'll say one thing however, at least between moans we find the time to get out once in a while - I've never known so many random just-for-the-sake-of-it posts in my life as on here, and all seem to be from the same guys.

We'll see how the season goes, but I know which side I'd like to be backing this year, and they're not off the back of a facile three match 'hot-streak'.... :)

well partly that but mainly cause its been roughly like that for the last 10 yrs or so and now that weve gotten our finger out this yr weve scored 12 goals in 3 games compared to Pools 1 (one)

:rolleyes: so, theres three other top quality clubs (Liverpool, Leeds, Arsenal) also in the running to say you know your going to win the league is pure arrogance, a trait found alot amongst you UTD fans

i have to say that after todays results its evening out to a four way battle with Utd, Arse, Leeds & Pool,
I cant see Newcastle lasting the pace, they're winning most of their tough matches but against the lesser sides they'll fall.
