Mo Salah

Aye, scoring less goals and winning less trophies is having a better season.
Ronaldo didn't turn up in the first half of the season by christmas he had 4 goals while salah was scoring a goal a game nearly. Salah was more consistent but ronaldo still managed to have a better season overall I'd say.

Vardy type levels of purple patch. He won't score half the goals next season.

He was ok, I guess. He'll be massively disappointed at how that went, such a wonderful season but it ends on a sour note.

Ramos probably laughing at the hotel.

To be fair though, he was clearly unfit and playing against full firing Russian federation isn't as simple as it seems.

Aye, scoring less goals and winning less trophies is having a better season.

... In a far worse team. Individually, he has been better this season. Ronaldo was basically non existent until January.

Liverpool fan on my Facebook having a go at Ramos for that performance made my day

That is embarrassing. So much for impartial journalism.

He's a complete loon. Look at the state of his tweets during the Champions League final.

@MaddockMirror
Incredible atmosphere in stadium already, players warming up will notice at least 3/4 of this ground is decked in red. Even in the Madrid end you can see many Liverpool shirts. Jurgen Klopp said: "I'm sure our fans will find a way"...they did Jurgen, they really did

@MaddockMirror
Just great to see that Liverpool don't give a flying feck about Real's reputation. That is immense, no matter what happens....

@MaddockMirror
Honestly, that was a disgrace from Sergio Ramos. He's ended @MoSalah's night, and possibly his World Cup with a cynical, horrible foul. Believe me, Ramos knew what he was doing there, dragging the arm down like that and holding. Red card all day.

@MaddockMirror
If Real go on to win this now, then it will be a tainted victory. Cynical, horrible, disgraceful from Ramos to take out the opposition threat in such a pre-meditated fashion. He knew what he was doing. He knew.

@MaddockMirror
Ramos is one of those players. In your team, then you defend what he does. Let's face it though, what he does is cheat. Cynically. That's a fellow pro. That's @MoSalah's Champions' League final dream over, his World Cup dream too. Just disgraceful. I wonder if he has a conscience

@MaddockMirror
Latest news is Salah's World Cup seems over. Probable dislocated shoulder, ligament damage too. Because of a horrible, cynical foul by Sergio Ramos, who knew exactly what he was doing taking out Liverpool's main threat

@MaddockMirror
Simply heart-breaking to see Loris Karius apologising to the incredible Liverpool support with tears streaming down his face, a battered, broken man. Heart-breaking. Team-mates leaving him alone, they know no words can help

@MaddockMirror
Analysis will be all about Karius now, which is a tragedy for the kid. But something truly disturbing watching Ramos lift the UCL trophy, when it was his cynical, pre-meditated, horrible, horrible assault on Mo Salah that changed the course of this game. Tainted victory

There’s no faux indignation quite like Scouse faux indignation.

:lol:

Bit much hate towards Salah? and thats coming from a United supporter.

This man clearly tried everything a human possibly could do to lift the hopes and spirit of his country. Playing despite severe pain (i assume) and taking the responsibility to win or loose as the leader. all despite a high unlikelihood to reach the final rounds. no one would have blamed salah if egypt lost, in contrast he would seem even more of a superstar. Never seemed like a guy who is soft or not fully commited towards either club or nation (unlike Oezil).
To make fun of this situation or to assume any bad motivation is pure disrespect towards a player and person who has always acted 100% correct on and off the pitch.

Mo Salah comes across as a very nice bloke and does alot for the unprivileged in his home country. He's from a part of the world where not many have become global icons (which he is doing).
I simply cannot hate him or even dislike him. I can't stand the club he plays for but I try and just talk about him as opposed to Liverpool FC.

Sad to see him going for vacation that early, but he couldn't drag that team alone. Was not on form but did his part.

Not gonna judge him off this but if this was a United player, say Pogba going off in tears in a Champions League final and then doing nothing in a crucial game like this (apart from a miss that he'd normally score) he'd be branded weak, a choker and not up for it etc; etc;

I expect a million excuses.

Getting injured in the first match, then plays the other match unfit and earlier than he should ?

I understand he plays for Pool but come on. He's one of those players that just plays the match and that's it, hardly tries to provoke the opponent on the pitch, does a weird haircut, has a strange tattoo or does anything to make anyone hate him.

He's a Liverpool player but felt sorry for him tonight. Was looking forward to the WC but couldn't help his team how he wanted.

Pure RAWK.
Where's the hate?
And god forbid United fans on United forum make fun of him. Sewere pain? I reckon he was fit to play so he probably didn't feel any pain.

That's a silly tweet. What he is insinuating is that only in that scenario can someone be called courageous. I think it is courageous to carry your team to a World Cup and give your all while nearly 100 million people back home are laying their hope on you, thats an immense pressure.

That's a silly tweet and not the one from Maddock?

I’m glad to see him in the World Cup. I’m just sick of the hype made about him on the BBC. You would have thought he was England’s hope of winning the World Cup with the coverage about.

Jonathan Pearce had a semi everytime he had the ball.
