Mo Salah

£35 cnuting million...
And Klopp wanted to sign Brandt instead originally. It is like there is some law that says Liverpool must have at least one class forward at all times. They had Torres and sold him just as his knees were breaking down and immediately brought in Suarez. Suarez took a season to adapt then scored for fun then the last three seasons they brought in Firmino, Mane and now Salah who have slotted in perfectly.

It is also about coaching, Klopp can't organize a defence but you can bet he would have martial, rashford, sanchez and pogba on song attacking wise.

The transfer committee is paying dividends atleast on one end of the pitch. Unfortunately when they need a player elsewhere they go straight to Southampton.

He is now leading the race for the Golden boot, one goal more than Messi. Messi has 2 more games than Salah.

Only blessing is the dross they buy in defence and midfield.

Yeah it’s a bit annoying but they’ve always had good forwards to be fair.

I still think he is a player having a extraordinary season rather than an extra ordinary player. Sort of like James Beattie all those years ago, or Steven Ireland in that one season where he looked like he was the re-incarnation of Laudrup.

I watch him in games, and even though he makes the right decisions a lot of times, he lacks that top end technique that you'd expect from a world class wide forward. He gets into good positions, and has no doubt been helped by their gung-ho tactics, but he won't produce this numbers again - I am certain of that.

By the way I hope he goes on a drought from now till the end of the season. There's going to be too much of a wankest about them this season already, can't let take another wankery their players.

Yayas 20 from midfield is pretty ridiculous cause iirc he didn't take penalties for them.
Took like 9 penalties actually

Liverpool didn't always have great forwards btw. Took them 4 years to replace Owen with Torres. If they did it sooner they would have won more than 1 miraculous CL

Let the hate go, jheeze! Check his stats in Serie A, too

Fantastic season for him.
I want to not like him but Jesus he's quality.
Superb player

Pretty likeable guy as well, such a shame he’s at Liverpool.

I thought/hoped it may have been an extended purple patch, but it's impossible for this run to be good fortune/timing/rub of the green. He's pretty much unstoppable and scores some tremendous finishes.

We're probably looking at the next superstar of football and I can't see why he'd want to leave Liverpool! They seem to be building something special right now.

Phenomenal, and at least the vast majority of Utd fans can recognise this. Signing of the season without a doubt, and in my mind easily the player of the year. I obviously hate that he pulls on a Liverpool shirt every week!!

Just insane. I never expected such a season.
No one did. Will be interesting to see if he can replacte this but I’ll be happy with 20 goals or so next season. Haven’t made my mind up yet whether this is an anomaly or he’s just this good.

Confidence is what football is mainly about.
He has it in abundance this season, that header yesterday was great.

I think the jury will still be out to see if he can get near the heights of this season next time round.

How he did he jump for his header ?
