What's his point? Haven't been following his posts much.
That clubs will line up to pay 200mil for Salah this summer.
Well, exactly. Why is he bothered with the selling value of his club? Bloody weird. If we have a great player at United, their sale value is the last thing on my mind.

It's funny how the PL finally seemed to be regaining strength with everyone saying look at how well the PL clubs performed in the CL group stages. Then comes along Salah who scores goals for fun and is currently the PL's topscorer, and suddenly the PL is shit again.

I don't think he thinks clubs will pay 200 mil for him but that Liverpool value him at 200 mil, which is fine IMO because he is worth that much to them.
Salah would be stupid to move. He's great in this Liverpool team and I think a huge reason is the way they play and the space he gets. Would be interesting to see how he does next year when teams are more used to the way he plays. I don't think he'll have any issues though.

Completely the opposite. He would get incredible salary if he was somehow to move this summer, which will set him up for life (getting a 4 or 5 year's contract). He is unlikely to retain that ridiculously good form next year (he'll be great probably, but I don't think that he'll be as good as he is now), which will directly affect his wages and everything else.

Posters like yourself might get some stick on here (And could be expected if you're a Liverpool fan here) but as you can tell, this forum is more welcoming of opposition fans than most sports forums. I think I agree. I had Kevin De Bryne as the clear favourite going into the new year, but he seems to have tailed off, while Salah has stepped on the gas pedal. It might depend on when the voting was closed off. It it was closed by mid February, KDB will get it. If it's still going in, I think Salah might get it.
It's a shame that Harry Kane got injured - he might not have necessarily have been on the shortlist and among the favourites, but if he were catering to golden boot, it gives you a chance, especially when the POTY awards these days seem to go to the top scorers.
