£150m will surely bring the Glazers to the table to discuss selling Jones.
Don't want to turn this into a Newcastle thread, but with noticeable change to the football market and environment could Salah and his brother be thinking about it? Our ongoing salary negotiations with him couldn't be worst timed.
PL, FA, Uefa, FIFA have basically already said feck it, go for it. No need for FFP pretence any longer. £250m in January should turn our heads and £500k a week salary will be enough for Salah to continue his PL record breaking elsewhere.
Lewandowski is not just about goals. How anyone would suggest that Salah is ahead of him is beyond me. I mean there is no justification for this position.
I agree that KDB has gone down the pecking order due to form but Mbappe is ahead of Salah. Benzema is a hard one to call right now.
The key selling point with Salah is his consistency in scoring and important ones too. He is also strong and has a great touch and passing as you say but his game is not well rounded than Lewa. I know he has started the season very very impressively but it was not long ago when he was not great particularly when Liverpool struggled last season, when they were loosing games. Also there was a time when Mane was the one doing much of the work but Salah’s scoring ability masked his below par all round performances. This was not too far back.I know. Lewandowski is the best striker in terms of efficiency and numbers, his athleticism is off the charts, built like a Spartan. The guy scores 50 goals a season, no joke.
But I prefer watching Salah. His game is more well rounded than either Mbappe or Lewa. Passing, touch, goals too. I can only think of Messi/Neymar when I see him play.
City started off with Nasri's and Robinhos before they got got De Bryunes etc.
I think Salah is a bit too high straight away.

Comparing a wide attacker to a center forward may not be very easy to do. For example would you put St-Maxim (Newcastle) ahead of Lukaku (Chelsea) even though one may be more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than the other?
I think you are hyping Salah in putting him ahead of Lewa. Lewa has been at the forefront in Europe for a long long time whilst Salah has been one of the best players in England which is great but not justifiably great as to put him ahead of the ageing man.
I am not comparing Salah to Mane. Clearly there’s only one winner here but I’m just saying that there was a period when it was debatable. Salah was still scoring but his all round performance wasn’t all that. There is no evidence that Liverpool would win Real Madrid that day if Salah was on the pitch. Take last season for example when VVD was unavailable, the impact to Liverpool was greater than the impact of any other Liverpool player in this Klopp era. In fact there was a spell last season when all Liverpool attackers were meh including Salah.Salah has been one of the best players in Europe there's no doubt about it. He dragged that team to the CL final, got injured and Liverpool folded. Then they eventually win it. Then they win the PL after 30 years. Klopp got so lucky with him. Take the Salah x factor and that team doesn't compete at the highest levels.
Mane is very good and a hard worker but that's it. He doesn't come close to Salah. Salah plays by instinct only. Or he doesn't care and just walks.

Henry and Ronaldo are top tier as they also won multiple leagues. Salah over Suarez for me.How far off Henry Ronaldo Suarez is he in terms of being the Prems best import
I think 2017-2018 he was on the same level. He could pull off anything that season.I know he had that big goalscoring season before but this season is by far the best I've seen him in general play.
Not better at his top level, but much more reliable I think. Robben sadly was to injury-prone, while Salah isn't. If I had to build a squad, I'd take Salah over Robben for that reason alone.Better than Robben ?
No. Robben had this star quality where he could elevate any team he played in, look at the 2014 WC. I don't think Salah could have done that.Better than Robben ?
Gnasher is nowhere near those guysHow far off Henry Ronaldo Suarez is he in terms of being the Prems best import
What he does in the CL will determine a lot, and also how long he maintains his current level. He does it against the biggest teams in the world over the course of the season, and it'll be a very different conversation to now.Looks like we are witnessing his prime, unplayable this season.
I wonder how would people rate prime Neymar, prime Bale, prime Hazard and prime Salah in order. I know how deluded Liverpool fans would, so I want takes of resident Utd fans
Arguably the best forward in world football right now!

Prime Messi level this season
Premier-league-wise or in general? As it a certain yes for the former and probably not yet for another.Better than Robben ?

Just no.Hazard > Salah
No way. Peak Bale was a great player and better than Hazard, Salah. Real Madrid won 4 CL's with Bale.Neymar >>> Hazard > Salah > Bale
I would love to hear the undeluded fans suddenly realising Salah even exists this season. Here's a fun fact I heard on radio. Salah has not won a player of the month since April 2018. Yes that's not a typo.
Ronaldo won it last month. Long may the non-delusion around Utd continue.

You're crying in a thread about Mo Salah on a United forum that's full of his praise?I would love to hear the undeluded fans suddenly realising Salah even exists this season. Here's a fun fact I heard on radio. Salah has not won a player of the month since April 2018. Yes that's not a typo.
