You are indeed correct.

De Gea & Aguero are close friends since their Atletico days and tend to hang out with each other. There was also a video of Benjamin Mendy dancing with Paul Pogba and his brothers at Paul Pogba’s house (think it was New Year).

Of course they are going to be rivals on the pitch but off it, they will obviously have friendships with players from rival clubs.

Back in 2011 when we beat Chelsea at Old Trafford 2-1. It was the 3rd last match of the season and if Chelsea beat us they level us on points but we won, got a 6-point lead and clinched the title. I was in the tunnels after the match and although players walked in happy/annoyed after the showers they formed their little groups (English NT players, French speaking players etc) and were talking among themselves in a friendly manner. These guys know each other and are on friendly terms. Pogba and Salah might not be friend but they probably met because of some sponsor relating thing and Pogba gets double the instagram clicks by posting that.

I know it's different from the 92' era but back then those United players were all HG and basically only knew each other. There wasn't this big net of communication that we have now. Players from the city of Manchester and Liverpool will meet each other at restaurants/night clubs and some of them probably play vs each other on FIFA. It's no big deal imo as long as it doesn't show on the pitch which I don't think it does.

Yes especially the Spanish and South American contingent. Understandable really.

The 'he's a nice guy' narrative was peddled and forced upon by the BBCs and Guardians so mixed with all the wanking over Liverpool by the media I very much detest the cnut.

Was very glad to see him back on the right.

All this tinkering with firmino deep, salah central, keita on the left, wijnaldum on the left at times - can't recall a single time where I've thought "he looks much better there".

Wish I knew why we've done so much of it. Midfield reasons or something I guess.

Sometimes managers have these ideas that they badly wanna try. It overcomplicates things unneccesarily. Always play your best players in their best position and deal with the rest

Well, he is a nice guy. I've seen him dive once. Thats not going to change my opinion of him.

Media and pool fans portrayed him as some great humble guy, which he clearly isn't. I think now he's showing his snide arrogant side (like some other prem players) but I'm not sure that warrants stepping on a sharp lego, unless I've missed something.
 
Current topscorer in the PL. If anyone told me that Mo Salah before 17/18 was gonna score goals at this rate, I'd die laughing. It's so weird.
 
He doesn't look like Adrian Pimento anymore.

17 goals and 7 assists in the League alone so far

With 12 League games remaining, I think it would be realistic to expect his goals to hit mid 20’s with assists in the double figures

Although he might not be performing like a freak such as last season, it’s yet another outstanding season for Mo
 
Has anyone mentioned this despicable human being's club record? 49 goals for a single club in 62 games. The record to 50 goals is Shearer in 66 games. :cool:

He was fairly prolific in them last year. He's not had as much of an impact in them this season though, I reckon a lot of that has to do with Klopp's more conservative tactics this season. He's still the league's top scorer.
