Miroslav Klose to Old Trafford (ananova.com)

Manchester United have been offered Germany striker Miroslav Klose for £5million, according to the Daily Mirror.

Kaiserslautern have been told to sell their prized possession to help meet a tax bill of £30million.

Although German clubs such as Bayern Munich would no doubt be interested, Kaiserslautern would prefer Klose to sign for an overseas team.

Seriously though, we're bound to linked with loads of players as January looms. Can't see us buying any strikers now unless one or two of our big guns go down through injury.

But it is as insurance for such an event that we really should sign an experienced striker on a 1 1/2 year contract.

he scored more vs the saudis than in the bliga this whole season so 5m may actually be high! but he couldn't complain about being 4th choice. can't help thinking he'd score a lot at MU. the service maybe????? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

He aint shite! How many strikers are prolific in teams that are struggling badly in their respective leagues? He's a good goal poacher and can be a deadly finisher! The askin price was the best part of £20m during the summer so £5m seems like good business sense for someone who would adapt well to the English game! 4 strikers is a must!!!!! :cool:
