Greetings folks!

I did some upgrades tonight. Everything went smoothly, but as ever, if there are any oddities on the site that weren't there yesterday, please let me know here and I'll look into it.

Thanks.

Just upgrading some of the vBulletin plugins the site uses, so there are no new features. I'm just concerned with making sure everything still works as it should.

Only thing I have noticed is that MJLD seems to still be unbanned

Seem to be getting a few random 'An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.' errors, not sure if this has anything to do with the upgrades as I got them before, but thought I'd let you know.

something to be nervous about MJLD?

Mods! Ban him!

Nah, that's just what happens when someone's doing an IP check, I think.

i get that around three times a day. it might just be time for me to come clean. i'm also dr. dwayne.

Dr. Dwayne always capitalizes the personal pronoun "I". you are a pale imposter, which, judging by my milky white complexion makes you a credible one.

That said, this isn't the general forum, let's keep the thread for real problems, for reals.

I get a few of these. Even before the upgrades.

The CAF seems to be causing my firefox to crash of and on. Wasn't happening before yesterday but don't know if it started before or after the upgrade.

The site was running very slowly for me this morning, not sure if it was just on my end but all other websites seemed normal speed.

I'm also getting the 'An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.' message a lot.

Site is still a bit slow too.

Hi Niall,

Just thought i'd let you know about a weird glitch thing that happened just a minute ago - it said i was invisible - similar to that time I had 'add to Ceks's reputation' under my post count. Once i refresh a couple of times it goes back to normal.

Here are the screenshots:

The site seems to be crashing an awful lot these days for me, especially on match days. Never used to happen, but suddenly its a reoccuring problem.

I was getting the 'An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.' again a lot today during and after the match.

I got the same Solius, but isn't that just from all the guests flooding the board like a bunch of raving spastics? It kept double posting things as a result for me.

I guess I don't need to point out the Caf just blew up?!

Looks like I can to my own reputation, but nobody else's.

Been getting loads of 'The service is not available. Please try again later.' messages today.

Me too. It's happened for the last few matches now.

The stability is quite bad directly after games. I couldn't get on for 5 minutes after the final whistle, all I was getting that that message.

And on occasion just totally spazzes out and goes to a 'page cannot be displayed' message. Shall we have a fundraiser for new servers? The 2010 RedCafe Wankathon.

It's been absolutely horrible for me since the upgrades, Niall.

I just went to read a thread (it took me about 7 attempts to view it) and when I went back to the forum the thread was locked. I'm just ging to assume that was me, somehow...it's all very noodle-esque. Generally IE crashes when I try to view threads or forum pages. Refreshing works but it is frustrating.

That said, I am stuck using IE6 at work (we use some web based apps that were built when IE6 was the norm), nothing I can do about that for now. Things are fine at home using Firefox but my moderator duties suffer during the day.

Help us.

I don't get any crashes on Firefox, but I've been getting loads of those server errors, page cannot be displayed messages and pages of random symbols and letters.

Also, didn't want to start a thread for this - when I post in a thread, it usually then displays as me having read that thread (i.e. doesn't get displayed in bold in User CP or subforum). Quite frequently, I've been posting and it still displays the thread as unread, despite showing me having the last post. Don't know if this is an issue with the upgrade but I'll whack it in here anyhow.
