Should we be reading anything into all this shopping for midfielders?

Does this make it likely that Scholes has told the club he would retire at the end of the season?

I'm not sure, we always get linked to everyone and 95% of the time it comes to nothing. Neville retired due to the fact he realized that he couldn't offer his best to the team anymore along with the amount of injuries he suffered. Scholes can still offer his best but he does suffer injuries often still. He's still played an important role this season although he hardly featured in the Champions League which is interesting.
 
It means the media spouts bullshit...shock, horror

Can't wait for the war chest to be spent this summer. Despite never seeing 4 of the 5 play, I really am creaming myself over all of them
 
SAF has watched a french full back Twiato or something like that plus Enrique of Newcastle and also the celtic full back add this with Evra being out of sorts does that mean Evra's asked to leave also?? lol speculation mate it never ends with this club that sells newspapers!!

We've been linked to countless left backs over the last year. I dont know the latest, but we're expecting Evra to sign now right?

Its just the same thing, there's potential that someone could be leaving so they have a field day linking everyone and anyone with us until our player signs a new deal and they have to shut up about it.
