We're likely to see a few of the mid table teams spend upwards of 50-60M this window, strengthening the premier league further. Particularly West Ham, Palace, Everton and Liverpool(;))

How do you see it going, who are they going to sign?

West Ham
IN: Nordveit, Feghouli, Tore
Potentially: Bolasie, Bacca

Palace
IN: Mandanda, Tomkins, Townsend
Potentially: Benteke

Southampton
IN: Redmond, Hojbjerg
Potentially: Carvalho

It's gone under the radar a bit but West Ham's transfer window has been a mess. They're bidding for any striker with a bit of potential or name recognition and getting turned down each time. Doesn't seem like there's much of a plan there.

Feghouli and now Tore, from what I can gather both right wingers?

There's news that they offered Tevez 150k/week to return, Tevez asked for 250k/week.

They just want a big name for the stadium opening. Tevez > Benteke - solid planning indeed!

I think Batsuayi will turn into a solid scorer in the PL. Be interested to see who else Chelsea buy, I can see them signing Kante and a winger depending how Conte will line them up.

If West Ham get Gabbiadini for the price being bandied about, that will be a great signing. He's been unfortunate in being behind Higauin in the pecking order.

Crazy money being thrown around because of the TV deal. Bournemouth getting Ibe for 15 million. West Ham and Palace bidding 30+ million for players.

It's madness. The bubble will surely burst soon.

There's talk of West Ham opening negotiations for Carlos Bacca with Milan. Would be a coup for them, and I can see them making a heavy push for the CL places if Bacca recaptures his old form.

If West Ham can keep hold of Payet they'll do well for themselves next year, I could see Bacca or Higuain at somewhere like West ham which is a strange thought thinking back 12 months ago you wouldn't dream that.

Let's not get too crazy here

I can actually see a transfer like that happening, he's a great player for Napoli but he'll never be at the biggest clubs out there. Real Madrid I used to think I can see him anywhere but now I see him at clubs a step below.

Are you taking the piss?

RVP to West Ham make too much sense, that attack looks quite frightening if I'm honest. Would be a great move on RVPs half living in London again at a potentially challenging PL side and West Ham need a big name and a attraction kinda like what we did with Ibra. I'd love to see Payet & Rvp link up I think it could be a great team to watch.

RVP
Lanzini - Payet - Feghouli
Noble - Kouyate
Cresswell - Ogbonna - Reid - Antonio
Adrian
On paper that's better than most BPL teams attack, Lanzini is underrated and if Feghouli can get back playing to level he was a few seasons ago... He'd become a 'Payet' like signing.

I think West Ham are really creating a powder keg situation for themselves.

Firstly, their ownership is embarrassingly vocal. They'll likely wind up with egg on their face after promising a top class 30 mil striker. A lot of the class ones have already made their move and the others have flat out turned them down. Now they're left with the bargain bin or overpaying for someone decent but not top class like Bacca. Whoever comes in will fully know they're at best 10th choice at this point and everyone now sees that a new stadium and a bit of extra cash doesn't mean you can now buy anyone you like.

More importantly though is they don't seem at all interested in the character of the individuals they've brought in. Players like Payet, Feghouli, and especially Tore have very spotty pasts and while that can work out every once in awhile it can also blow up in your face, not to mention adding multiple of that type can see everything implode Valencia style.

Not mid-table but Swansea have signed 18-year-old Manchester United full back Tyler Reid for an undisclosed fee. Not been following our U-21, but anyone know how he has been for the reserves or U-19?
