Does anyone know the story behind us release thi lad at the age of 16.

He is now being rated at 5m. Seems strange that we would release him so young.

How many times have you seen him play recently?</strong><hr></blockquote>

ive seen 1 full sheff utd match and loads of highlights of him this season. Last season he was beginning to show good promoise but this season he seems to have matured a lot more, his end product being excellent so far this season. quick, hard working, very tricky on the ball, good crosser, good finisher. scored twice on saturday. Left sided player, reminds me of Lee Sharpe.
another one that we;ve let go who has benefitted from first team experience. He's only 19 or 20 now though so watch out for him in the England u-21's. With him and Matt Taylor of Portsmouth England certainly wont have a left sided problem for much longer. Id love to see Fergie add either one of these kids to the squad. Theyre both going to be great players.

I know transfer talk should be on the appropiate pages, but I read in the Daily Express (a paper not usually too wide of the margin regarding transfers, unlike other British papers) that United are preparing a bid for an Argentinian defender called Burdisso. Apparantely if the deal materializes he would be signed at the end of the current season. Anybody know anything about this player as to be honest I don't.

He's a young Argie who plays for Boca, and I think he can also play at RB. We have been linked with him before, mainly this summer, but he is nothing special. We should pursue Escude imo.

Isnt Ehterington the Spurs guy? I heard we were interested in him for a while before he joined them, and he is getting a lot of action down at the lane. I think he can play on the left, in which case he could be one to watch in the coming years.
