Michael Thomas' comments on Roy Keane

Just wondering what people think of Michael Thomas' comments suggesting that if Roy Keane was English he would have been dealt with a lot more leaniently by the FA.

I think there may be some truth in it, I remember a certain incident with Alan Shearer and Muzzy Izzet that went unpunished, for example.

Can someone tell me how the process of punishment works? i.e if you kick someone do you get 5 match ban, but head-butt you get 7 match ban?Throw stones slap on wrist.

One other thing - Barthez was arrested and questioned before being released on bail by the Leeds police because the bloke he hit with the bottle complained. Carrager threw the coin at the crowd, and got lightly punished!
