Nah--I think it's more a case of young Mr. Baggins having a reputation for being a good little boy, so his actions aren't viewed the same way as, say, Mr. Keane, Mr. Shearer, or others with a more rough and tumble reputation. Besides, he did tell the referee that "Sting" was glowing, so he thought G.N. was an orc, making his actions understandable.

While I agree with those who say that the nationality of anyone from any club posting on this board is irrelevant, I am amused by fresnobob setting himself up again as the Solon of the MANCHESTER REDCAFE - not Arsenal website - by belittling Red Devil supporters.

Poor old Bobbie - tis you who are the johnny come lately, assuming as you do that your slagging of Manchester United`s massive international support is some phenomenon of the last 10 years.

All I can assume is you have been living under a rock for most of your football `supporting` time as MU`s international following, huge and passionate as it is, not only can be dated back to the Busby era but even before - maybe you would like to contact some supporters` groups in Malta, Australia, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, not to mention a number of European countries.

The bottom line is - before you utter your tired cliches because you cannot handle the fact that Arsenal do not register remotely on the international scale as Manchester United - try and learn some facts about this fantastic club with its passionate support that you denigrate with such obvious envy!

Don't know how old you are, but I've been having discussions with international "friends of Manchester United" since around 1975 and have a fair idea of the support they possess around the world--although the knowledge and true dedication of some of the younger fans might be suspect. I reserve the right to post tongue in cheek at the Red Cafe, a phenomenon noted by 77, redfan, and curt.
