Michael Jackson concerts in London - merged topic

He's coming on now. He looks like a feckin ghost. Grown up blokes screaming like teenage girls.

So he's announcing his final ever concerts in UK (or was it anywhere?). Ten shows starting 7th of July.

He said 'curtain call' so I'm guessing anywhere.

He kind of emphasised the last shows in london bit. So who knows.

I have a feeling that when these sell out (assuming they will) that some others will get added.

I'm going to try & sort out some tickets.

Can't wait. Hopefully he still has the voice / the moves.

He still had everybody in the palm of his hand.

I'm going to try and get tickets..can't wait! No doubt Rio and Ronaldo esp. will be getting some

What the hell was wrong with his hands?

apparnetly they are on sale next friday! tickets start at £50 up to £85! Go on sale at 7am

So there is going to be no album? :(

The potential was immense with the writers and producers on board.

Can't fault the man at his best, but does anyone expect a half-decent peformance from him nowadays?

Must have been amazing to have watched him live in the 80's when he was at his peak. Imagine witnessing his legendary performane of Billie Jean at Motown's 25th anniversary.

One of the organisers has said that he'll perform some new songs.

There will also be some special guests at the shows on stage..rumours of Janet appearing atleast once.

"New" songs, or song that are years old that haven't surfaced?

If anyone can make a living off releasing singles and no albums though, it's Michael Jackson.

At around 9.30ish on Sunday, he's booked the complete advert slot of 3-4 minutes during Dancing with Ice, and a clip will be shown of some of his best moments on stage.

First time an artist has booked a whole advert section.

I've been trying since 7 this morning.

o2 went down straight away.

Ticketmaster is a pile of shit..looks like I'll have to try my luck on Friday
