Cheers - but what bad news. They're doing a good job of holding onto their youngsters to get more money for them.

Its no suprise really, the value of Auxerres' youngsters will only rise with more exposure and experience, especially CL(where they will be needed), and with that they may even get some games for France. And its also in the players' interest to stay another year and mature. Its probably only the big clubs that might benefit by buying now before their value goes up. Much though I'd like us to land Mexes this year, I seem to recall a quote from Guy Roux, from last Summer, that he expected Mexes to move to United Summer 2003.

I think Utd. will sign only one CB this summer namely Hofland...Gary Neville or Ronny Johnsen will be the other CB(so at least one CB has a fair bit of experience)Wes Brown and O'SHea will also play a bit. At the end of next season, when O'Shea and Hofland have a bit of experience playing in the EPL, Fergie might let Ronny Johnsen go...with Mexes being his possible replacement.
