I've never played any of the Metal Gear games.
Amazing series... the new chapter looks fantastic.

They are fantastic games.
I have only played the first one. (If that's the one that ends with Snake driving off on a snow scooter).
I then got an Xbox, then X360. Now I will have to buy the PS3 because of GT5. That means I get to play Snake again

I have never got into MGS games. It looks good, im not sure if i will like it though - seems a little slow. Will give it a go though.
It is more slowly paced because there is a great story line to each of the games. If you want fast paced, shoot everything in sight, MGS is definitely not your flavour.
