Well where do I begin?

After being told that the players may not come over we didn't really know what to expect SO! We arrived about 10.15am to see them warming up.........then when they started the training session they were quite a way away from us...........this is because of pitch rotation so they weren't as close as we would have liked.........session went on for about 90 minutes THEN..........Alex started to walk over towards us whilst the players were cooling down with a little jog around the pitch........so still NOT knowing what to expect..........with autograph books at the ready we stood waiting patiently........THEN I caught Ryan Giggs eye.........and he didn't look away!!!! I think I was mesmorised and he walked straight over to me (almost as if he had made a bee line) it was a really strange feeling as we all feel as if we know these boys..........but when he came up to me and took my pen to sign my book..............I was GOBSMACKED..........and speechless..........starstruck or what! Anyone who knows me would find it amazing that I could ever be speechless but there you go! Then before I knew it he was on to the next person signing..............couldn't really keep them talking as the more they talked the less people would get autographs.....and there was about 80 people there......lot of children too so they had to be first.............then Ole came by followed by John O'Shea..........Silvestre.........Alex and last but not least ROY KEANE...........my hero! Roy was siging books for people so he was with us quite a while............I said to him what a good read his book was.............to which he replied.............got me in a lot of trouble...........yes but it was worth it I said............he just smiled...........then my friend asked if she could have his hat...........she was TOUCHING his head at this point..............so I said we can't touch we can only look........he grinned again..........then he asked if she wanted his SHORTS too and we giggled at that...........she didn't get them but did get his hat! Then I said...........hey can we just take you home with us............he said I don't think that my wife would like that............so I said I am sure she wouldn't mind if she knew that it was us...........he grinned again...........and before we knew it they were all gone............Beckham was down the other end from us signing.........one lady got Barthez's autograph TWICE! Greedy or what...as he and Scholes only signed a few! RVN was also at the other end so I didn't get his either..........But they all looked fit and gorgeous and Nicky Butt was training............ so hopefully he will be in for Saturdays game!

Then it was all over so quickly........couldn't get autographs 'and' photos NO TIME! One or the other.....so I am relying on a very good friend who is an excellant photographer......to email some of his to me!

Well I am afraid I have to go now..........I do not want to bore any of you :D

All in all it was a great day and hope you all could have been there with me..............what an experience.............even if it was short..........BUT............I have managed to pass a message on via a couple of soccer school guys who I got chatting to and I have told them to tell the boys to visit the forum..............also I told them to tell them that they had MISSED not really meeting SheDevil today ;)
 
Good to hear you had a nice time, i hope your friend can get the pictures to you and that you stick em on here.

I live in the next village to carrington and i see them quite often, saw Becks yesterday in a black 360 Modena, which was nice! But then as i got onto the spur i saw a Aston Martin Vanquish coming towards me, which is my dream car btw, abeing driven by Rio.

The git. :p

So when's the sticky going up about not slagging the players for a few days cos they might be dropping for a surprise visit in the next few days? Thomson - you'd better not do it cos everyone will just do the opposite if you ask.

Nice one shedevil! I remember the first time I came face to face with giggsy, beckham, yorke and fergie and others - starstruck is the word! Beckham even stood on my pen breaking it into a million pieces - as good a way to go as any I guess!

But unfortunately you failed to tell them about the caf so.....you're BANNED ye forgetful beeatch!! ;)
 
Oh yeah, this reminds me that I had a very vivid dream last night that I had a conversation with Roy Keane at some training pitch somewhere. I asked him if he uses the Internet, he said "yeah" then his face lit up as if HE suddenly recognised ME and said "hey aren't you that guy who runs....what's it called....Redcafe?" <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

I then proceeded to invite him onto the forum for a chat with all you lovely people! ....then I woke up at the crucial moment before he answered - dammit :mad:

So someone comes on here and claims to be Roy Keane or whoever, and promptly gets a load of abuse.......

Its not easy for us girls when in the presence of a REAL man (I once saw Dennis Irwin in the city centre,I told him "your Dennis Irwin".....just incase he'd forgotten or something :o ;) )

He is fit for tomorrow!

RVN took a bit of a tumble during training got us a bit worried <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />
But he was soon up and about :)

None of them were wearing shin pads for training.......bit silly really that.......it is easy to see how they can get injured as they practiced hard and fast.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I will be there I am going to go right down to the front of our stand and TAKE SOME PHOTOS.......that I didn't manage to get yesterday :(
