Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has called for managers to be given the chance to query decisions during matches with on-the-spot video replays. He says managers should be allowed to use three 'jokers' per game to challenge decisions.
Wenger believes the off-beat idea could help to cut out diving. He argues there is simply too much at stake in the game not to use the benefits of TV replays in a limited form, such as when penalties are awarded.
"Maybe in future we will have three video interventions possible during the game that you can use tactically. Each team would have those three moments where they could say 'stop, we challenge the decision of the referee and want the video panel to have a look at it. It's difficult to accept that you can lose big games without having a moment where you can say `listen referee, you can be wrong, we know that, but I'd like a chance to look at that again'."
Whaddya think? Wenger whining, or does he have a valid point?
