An iconic moment ruined surely. Could barely see his Argentina shirt.

Yeah ruined iconic images for sure

The robe and the fifa bollix were very annoying. Doesn't look like the Argie players gave a feck but annoying attention seeking from the two on stage.

Surely about to get sued by the sponsors/manufacturers of that shirt too?

super weird & shitty, don't think it's ruined anything though

I got nothing against the robe. But they ruined an iconic image.

It’s called a thobe and why you lot crying, see how happy the team is celebrating their triumph. Why you feeling offended and disgusted on their behalf? Let it go, it was a great World Cup, a great final and Messi the GOAT has finally done it. Focus on the positives and let’s move on to the season once more.

Qatar authorities surely cant watch beyond their own asses and the few bellends who keep kissing them. A whole life revolving about yourself must do that to you

Player should be raising the trophy in his kit. It was a disgrace. Trying to shove the local culture down people’s throats.

If watching films has taught me anything this is somewhat of a cultural norm in the peninsula?
.

It was funny. He looked genuinely bemused when they were putting it on him

What I couldn't get over was how the Qatari official stretched his welcome on stage before the trophy. The awkwardness and expectation of it all.

Yeah ruined iconic images for sure
It's fine, Martinez created another one... What a weirdo.

We should focus on the football positives and all the surrounding negatives that come from a corrupt organisation allowing a World Cup to be held under these circumstances.

Focusing on the positives, ignoring the negatives and moving on is what scumbags like Infantino want.

If I were Argentinian I’d be furious for missed photo ops  win a WC once in a lifetime and get photobombed by a head-patting Qatari creep and his bedroomwear
