I guess I have a bit of a greater chance when I'm asking for a ticket at the MUSCSB (Manchester United Supporters Club Scandinavian Branch) instead of trying directly from the club...

Membership would be closed at this point of the season. It would be in the summer break before you can apply again.
Membership for this season closed months ago
