I've got:
$10 on Sri Lanka to beat India at $1.80
$10 on a Sri Lanka/Holland multi at $4.50
$10 on Sri Lanka to win the cup at $7.00
$10 on West Indies to win the cup at $8.00
$10 on Shane Bond to be New Zealand's highest wicket taker at $2.75

Now watch them crumble one by one.
 
They don't look all that stupid to me, except betting on the Windies. So, you'll probably lose them all.

Holland are without their best bowler and India will be playing for their lives against Sri Lanka. Daniel Vettori could easily take more wickets than Bond and the Aussies/Saffers are looking good for the cup.

On the other side of the coin, the West Indians are at home.

But really they're all stupid in the sense that it's me who's put the bets on. These things never work out for me.

What I really should have done was put $10 on Bangladesh beating India like I planned and I'd have plenty of credit to play with.

I reckon they're a very good chance of making the semis. They're not as hapless as is sometimes suggested and they're at home.
 
If you look at host teams historically they usually make it to the semis but I just can't see it happening this time. They were playing really well about 6 months back but have looked mediocre of late. Just my opinion.

Like a lot of you seem to think that SL have a good chance of winning it and I have a feeling that they'll have a tough time making it to the semis if India get past this round.
