Hope not he deserves the championship after so many near misses , rate him better than Alonso
Me too.

But Im afraid the same story will happen again. :(

Maybe, oly time will tell.

Anyway I really hope Kimi wins the Championship this tear, he deserves it.

Hope so to , as if he doesnt then surely hell leave at the end of the season and go to Ferrari especially seeing that Alonso is on his way to McLaren . God Kimi and Alonso in the same team would be the strongest pair of drivers since Senna and Prost , would love to see Kimi and Alonso in the same team.

I dont think Kimi will go to Ferrari as long as Schumi is there.

Not sure if its this year or the end of the next , but even if it is the end of next year and Kimi finds no joy at McLaren hell leave to replace Massa who surely is only a stop gap untill even Kimi or Rossi arrive.

But Schumi will always be Ferraris no 1 driver and as long as he is there I dont think Kimi will go there.

He wont accept to be no 2.

If Kimi went to Ferrari he would go there only has team equal and im sure Ferrari would give it him , as with Micheal nearing the end of his career there need a new number one
True, and if this is Schumis last season Kimi will go there straight away BUT if he choses to continue for another season Kimi wont go there, as he will have to be the no 2 in that case...

Micheal is getting older and nearer to retirement , when he retires no matter how much he has done for the team , the team will continue so if a talent like Kimi becomes arriveable year end and Micheal has one year left , surely the team would look to the furture and give Kimi and Micheal equal number one status rather than risk lossing Kimi ,

BUT what if Lets say things go well for Kimi and he becomes world champion this year and with Ron Dennis and hi long standing relationship with Finnish drivers and Micheal retires year end , who do you think Kimi will drive for.

Ermm, good question that... Of course it depends on many things but I reckon he´d still move to Ferrari as they would offer him a far better contract than Mc. I´m not saying he´d just move for the money but on the other hand it would be difficult for Mc to sack Montoya after ony one season... Very difficult question this but I think hed choose Ferrari over Mc.

I dont think Schomi would accept that.

It´ll be intresting too next year to see how Renault will cope. I have a feeling that they wont be as good as they ere this year, what do you think ?

I hope your wrong would love a Kimi / Alonso Team that would be good fun . Not saying that i dont like Montoya a bit like Nigel Mansell (my hero) quick aggressive but can make mistakes but a Kimi / Alonso combination will be better than Moytona / Alonso and with two latin drivers and there temperments it could get rather heated in that team so it would be good to have someone cool things down THE ICEMAN.

Renault seen pity quick pre season so far but with the loss of Alonso for next year and not to many has quick has him around i can only see Renault dropping next year but it depends how this new finnish driver does in testing

What is with Formula One and Finnish drivers for a small country there sure have produced a lot of very good Formula one Drivers

I´d have nothing against a Kimi / Alonso Team, infact they would press each other so hard that they would come much better drivers, but its just that I think that Kimi is really pissed off with Mc´s cars that always breaks... Therefore I think he´ll move, but then again as you said it will be intressting to see what will happen if Schomi quits AND Kimi wins the Championship....

I agree. And its always gonna be difficult for a rookie to come in and replace a Champion, its pretty big boots to fill in...

Its actually pretty wierd... But Finland have always had a tradition in developing good drivers(in Rally aswell)

Either way Im looking forward to a good season , i see it has a race between Mclearn and Renault for the title with Honda and Ferrari and possiable Toyota fighting for 3rd . The midfield battles should be good has I believe that Midland and RedBull 2 will be a big improvement over last years Jordan and Minnardi and they could battle with likes of BMW , RedBull 1 and even Willams who have customer engines.

Must have something to do with all the snow over there.

Been a while since South Africa has had a Formula 1 driver , think that was Jody Schekter way back in the late 70s

Considering the rally part I agree, but it has nothing to do with our F1 drivers. :D

Nice car...

I would like to have one in my garage.

Its pretty fast but the sad thing is that its as reliable as Richters dick.
