I feel sorry for him. All the attentions going to Warne. Probably because hes still going to play in the world cup, but still. Better than Warne IMO.

The sad thing is when Warne goes MacGill will just step in and when McGrath goes Clark will take his role and one of there talented seam bowlers will step in, plus players like Hodge and Jaques are begging for their batsman to retire so don't get your hopes up England fans

doubt macgill will be selected
he'd be good for one or two seasons really

and he's in terrible form at the moment

it's time to bring in a young'un

When Warne was banned MacGill did a fantastic job they didn't miss him really

Glenn McGrath just confirmed he is retiring from Test cricket following the Ashes but will continue with One Day Cricket until the end of the World Cup.

Ahead of the game with that news eh cornell?! I think Warne's got most of the attention because it's more of a shock, you'd think he could carry on for another Ashes series or two. It's pretty obvious McGrath's career is on it's downwards path, still as deadly accurate as ever but lacking the pace to get it through anymore. While it's great to see Pieterson coming down the pitch to hit him about, it's a shame because McGrath is a legend and that would never have happened in his heyday.

McGill isnt very good at all.

Its funny how the English are creamin themselves over Warne. Botham described him as the greatest cricketer ever. I mean seriously, come on.. how can such a high profile cricketer be that thick.

I happened to be listening to the radio when he had his press conference. Living in Australia helps too :D
