To be honest, I was never a big fan of McClaren. Was more of a Williams man thanks to Mansel. But I had to give my support to any young British driver challenging for the F1 title, so Ive been backing McClaren the last 2 seasons.
However, in light of the latest cheating and having already having to endure the spying scandels in 2007, I can not bring myself to back them anymore. There are no excuses. They are a bunch of cheating frauds and have always have been. If Ferrari had were like that we would never hear the end of it. So Im backing Williams again, and of course the Brawn team being British and having a British driver.
 
McLaren are a British team who have generally had one British driver in their ranks over the years - deserve our support. I stopped having any support for Williams when Hill left them.

Im pretty much in the same boat, was always a Williams fan as a kid. I think ill still support Lewis, not so much McLaren, if that makes sense.

Id prefer Button to win the championship this season though.

Spot on....glad to see that at least a few people on here have some common sense. Many British posters seem to believe FIA is racist and there is a conspiracy against McLaren and Lewis.

Button may not win the championship (Ferrari & McLaren will soon catch up) but its good that he has a competitive car that can match his talent.
