From TeamTalk:
Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren has denied speculation he is set to raid Old Trafford for a third time with a bid for winger Quinton Fortune.
South Africa international Fortune is being tipped to follow in the footsteps of Jon Greening and Mark Wilson by linking up with Sir Alex Ferguson's former right-hand man at The Riverside.
But McClaren poured cold water on the reports, and said: "He's a good lad, Quinton, but it's the first I've heard about it."
Meanwhile, Boro skipper Paul Ince is struggling with a virus ahead of tomorrow's clash with The Reds but is expected to start the Old Trafford encounter.
Ince missed training for the first three days of the week but insists he will be ready to face his former club after slamming United's fans for giving him stick.
He said: "I get a lot of grief from Manchester United fans and I can't understand it.
"They should remember I was part of the team which took the title back to Old Trafford for the first time in 26 years."
Boro striker Noel Whelan is available for selection after recovering from illness but may have to settle for a place on the bench.
McClaren is tempted to field virtually the same team which performed so well against Liverpool six days ago which would see the on-loan Italian striker Benito Carbone starting up front alongside Croatia star Alen Boksic.

Pity as it would suit us and him if he left, he's not quite made the grade.
