Mayer's Wembley gig

John Mayer.

Everyone is supposed to know.

The guy from twitter.

He does music too?

I thought he just dated for a living?

One of my favorites. He doesn't like singing, but I think it works. His new album is very good, and his first one "Room For Squares" (I know he did "inside want's out" first but it doesn't count) is one of the ones I play regularly.
I am envious.

I'll be going to his concert in Montreal in a month's time.

He's a fantastic live artist, just watch his Live in LA DVD. Have a nice time mate. Really jealous of you there!

I'm kind of addicted to his LA concert, I got it on CD (which was extremely tough to get hold of, there were like two of these within 100 miles from where I live) and Blu-Ray but recently I've come to rate his Birmingham concert as high. It's less perfect but in a way more entertaining.

Hope he does a lot of acoustic. I don't know how good my seats are but they are about 10 or 15 meters off stage so it should give me a clear view. Wembley Arena isn't that big anyway I think (for a while I thought he'd be playing at the stadium, took me a while to actually realize he wouldn't).

Heavier Things and Continuum aren't half bad either, actually I rate both of them at least as high as the new album. Hope he does a lot of songs from previous albums but knowing him he will.

How good is the view in Wembley Arena? I will be seating virtually in the middle.

So has anyone been to Wembley Arena? What's the view like there? I've heard good things about the area I'm supposed to be sitting in but nothing precise.

So after over four months of wait I finally went to that concert, and I must admit it was amazing. He played almost every single one of my favorite songs except for Neon and City Love, but I can forgive that as he played In Your Atmosphere, which he barely ever plays (I think he has played it three times so far).

He's an amazing live artist indeed. Pity I didn't make it to the first concert, which was the day before but it was kind of unexpected and yet to be unveiled when I booked my flights and a room.

Loved London as well - it's a cracking city, much better than I expected and I still did expect it to be very good. Probably the best city I've been to so far along with Chicago, I'll definitely be coming back sometime soon. The downside of it was that everything costs fortune there, I even managed to pay £15 for a dinner that consisted of a bottle of Coke and fish&chips!
