I writing this post our of genuine concern for Manchester United and Rou Keane. This much publicised soap opera looks like it has no end in sight.Everyday it gets better or worse depending from which end you looking. Listening to Mick Macarthy on Sky last night he said it is a sad day for Ireland that the greatest Irish footballer isn't in the squad. This gives me hope that perhaps a compromise can be reached.
It is well documented that Roy Keane has never shirked his reponsibility as a player and captain of Manchester United. May now he should just come out and say that he has made mistakes and let his football do the talking. Sometimes all we need to do is say "I'm sorry" and get on with it.
I am aware that this could be construed as being soft, but at the end of the day it could end up rescuing this season for united.
It pains me to read the papers, watch tv and see the latest installment on the Keane saga, I love manchester united and not seeing on the football pitch is something hard to swallow. The rest of the lads have rallied to the support of the captain which is the right thing to do.
I would like to send a personal message to Roy Keane, 'There's only one Keano"
