of the experienced defenders, who would u prefer to c showing our young ones how to do it? It would be good to see Maysie get a good run in the first team

Blanc is a legend and still has some excellent ability. May on the other hand has been effected by all his injuries and will never get a run in the first team unless we have so many injuries.

on one hand youve got a worldcup winner, whos played for leading clubs all over europe and is widely regarded as one of the finest ball playing defenders theres even been..

then on the other hand..
youve got a former blackburn defender whos best remembered by United fans as chief celebration leader at the EC final

hmmmmmm, i wonder which one id prefer to pass on their experience..
 
The only interesting angle on this question is that May has been in the reserves, thus bringing on the likes of Tate, Roche and Tierney when perhaps they would be better off learning from Blanc. Now that Tate has gone on loan, I wonder who's going to be promoted to the reserves?

David May is Gods gift to football, you don't think he has more medals than Shearer for nothing do you?
