Two very promising and capable, young, French holding midfielders emerging at Olympique Lyonnais. I wouldn't be surprised if their names start being touted around as the bigger clubs take note of their growing experience in the French League. Does anyone know much about them?

Was it Guieda Fofana that we were linked with last summer/January before? I remember reading we were constantly sending top scouts to watch a young Frenchman named Fofana, but I seem to remember them mentioning he was a left back.
No, that was Diako Fofana, an RB iirc; this guy's a different Fofana.

I own them both on soccer manager, yes. They're obviously great talents though who've broken through into the Lyonnais midfield; they're young and both play in a position that our own club in particular should be looking at; Lyonnais isn't a small club but they'll struggle to keep hold of such players if the progress they've made thus far continues much farther.
Gonalons is a pure born and bred Lyon product.To attract a promising player like him United would have to overpay specially that financially Lyon are great at extorting other clubs for their best players.
Is Yann M'Vila still in France? I thought he looked promising but he's still not got a move. I never trust these French holding midfielders that they seem to mass produce. Moussa Sissoko is another that never reached the heights expected.
M'Villa has regressed badly. Has been demoted from the French National Team to the U21.
Thought this was a thread on the French rugby player, Fofana, until I realised that the his first name is Wesley or something.
The best thing about Gueida is that he doesn't get payed for playing football, he just does it Fofana.
