Is he fit?

If he is, he would be ideal imo - he seems to be behind Yorke and Cole at Blackburn, so would surely be happy to be used here in rotation?

I still reckon he'd be a good asset. Even more after today.

I think Fergie's more firmly wedded than ever to the lone striker option which means we need someone who can hold the ball up and score goals and rotate with RVN.

Could Jansen do that for us ?

I haven't really seen a lot of Jansen lately but he's always struck me as more of a support striker than someone who leads the line. He's skillful, can dribble and pass, but I don't know if he's physical enough to hold the ball up.

Matt Jansen had the chance to come to United a few years ago but turned us down in favour of Crystal Palace or someone like that. I can't see Fergie wanting to sign a player who has previously said No to him.

What like Barthez (once) and Blanc (twice).

He was young and wanted games, cant fault him there.

Glad he's back in the game and would welcome him to OT, but whether he's the kind of striker the boss wants is another matter.

Matt Jansen? Please no...
Why do u lot look for such low quality...
He's not good enough for us IMHO...

He would have made it to the World Cup if he hadn't been injured.
