Van der Sar's saved it... United again!
Please, would it be possible to install something like a game reminder - a timeline with our next games? Just like the "wiki pick" or "latest blog posts" column? I rarely visit manutd.com or premierleague.com, so I often simply forget games :( - but I tend to regularly log onto the forum.

I know it comes as a shock Al but you find out that some of the people on this site are not really proper football fans and also argue crap about games they haven't seen.

No, alastair, not at all! That's one the most absurd things I've read on here! How can you forget games? You know there's a game every weekend, and often midweek. Just check! I think it's normal for supporters interested enough to write thousands of post at Redcafe to know when we play, and against who.

Bookmark the match-day forum. The next game will always be one of the top one or two threads in there.

 Would I be out of order to suggest that if you were a proper fan, you might check such websites?
Would I be out of order to suggest that if you were a proper fan, you might have remembered that Bent's goal against you occurred at 94:14 and not "in the 96th minute"? ;)

The thing is - I did know that, to a point, but I exaggerated it to epitomise the perceived injustice. :)

 I've seen a lot of that, but I've never once heard of anyone forgetting their own team's games even if you have a passing interest in football. That's a tad weird.

Isn't there some legal reason why that can't be done?

Thanks, at least two constructive answers. I've boomarked it now.

The point is, even when I check out once or twice a week manutd.com, I still forget it sometimes. It's easier with Bundesliga games, because they are splashed all over the newspapers and normal news sites.

I'm always being told I'm a so called 'top red', and beyond this weekend where I know we play Wolves away, though I don't know what day or time, I don't know who we play next after that

Seems like a reasonable request to me. Dickheads will be dickheads

 Fair play, such open bias is noble and commendable. It's the sneaky ones like Storey who try to change draws into losses and whatnot that you have to look out for...

In fairness Brad, though I'm often guilty of this myself, it's only possibly the biggest Derby ever. In fairness.

But will you find out before Saturday? Of course you will. You wouldn't risk missing it.

There we go then. I knew the derby's coming up because I'm at the game, but I didn't know we were without a midweek game

Fixture lists help this kind of thing. Why not on the biggest United forum? If it happens or not, its not a stupid idea, and it doesn't need pricks being, well, pricks about it

You have to have permission to repost the fixture list apparently, copyrighted material.

Copyright 2011, just under the part where you're breaking someone elses copyright then?!

Should be a link on here to that stats site by the way Top. Somewhere promiment

Exactly. I even missed the Villa game because life and work were so stupidly busy combined with watching the news about the cyclone all night/early morning in case our relatives were blown/washed away. Damn me and my feeble support of United.

We don't even know who you support and in any case this is the admin/help forum, not some playground. So go away and mind your own business. It is no wonder you are so disliked on this site if this is your normal standard of input.

So we will do this or something similar if the copyright issue gets sorted out. Until then Pogue's advice is it.
